What is Camera to Cloud?
Camera to Cloud (C2C) is a workflow that lets you send video and audio files directly from Mavis Camera to cloud storage - instantly, securely, and without needing cables or local transfers. Instead of waiting until you’re back at your computer to offload media via AirDrop, USB cable, or external storage, C2C uploads files in real time as you shoot.
This means that editors, producers, or collaborators can access your footage almost immediately, no matter where they are.
How Does It Work?
- Enable a C2C Service in Mavis Camera
- Checkout Camera to Cloud section for more info. - Record in Mavis Camera
- Capture video or audio as you normally would. - Automatic Progressive Transfer
- As soon as you start recording, the file begins uploading directly from Mavis Camera to your connected cloud service (e.g., Frame.io, Framelight X, Sony Ci). This reduces waiting time dramatically as a long recording can already be 50–80% uploaded by the time you press stop. - Remote Access
- Once uploaded, files are available immediately for download, review, or collaboration by your team and there is no need to be on the same network or in the same room.
