Mavis Studio includes four Image Players for still image sources.
An Image Player is designed for displaying a single image as a source in the Show. This makes it useful for logos, title cards, full-screen artwork, sponsor panels, branded frames, reference images, and other static visual elements.
To load an image, tap the settings button on an Image Player and import the required file. Once loaded, that image becomes available in the multiview and can be cut to Program or loaded into Preview like any other source.
Image Players support images with an alpha channel. An alpha channel stores transparency, allowing part of the image to remain transparent instead of filling the entire frame. This is especially useful when the image is being used as an overlay or as part of a Layout.
Because Mavis Studio includes four Image Players, multiple graphics can be prepared in advance and kept ready during a Show. This makes it easy to switch between different still images without replacing files each time.
Image Players are also useful inside Layouts, where they can be used for static overlays, branding elements, or decorative frames.
If the source needs to play moving video rather than show a still image, use a Media Player instead.
