Web Graphics allows Mavis Studio to render a web page as a live source.
This makes it possible to bring browser-based graphics, presentations, and other web content directly into a Show. Depending on the page being used, Web Graphics can act as a full-screen source, a transparent overlay, or a dynamic graphics layer.
To set up Web Graphics, tap the settings button on the Web Graphics source and enter a URL. Once loaded, the page appears as a source in Mavis Studio.
At the simplest level, this can be any normal web page. More commonly, Web Graphics is used for HTML-based graphics such as lower thirds, animated titles, score graphics, presentation pages, or browser-driven graphics systems.
Because Web Graphics is based on web rendering, it can also work with external tools and services that generate graphics in the browser. This makes it one of the most flexible source types in Mavis Studio.
Web Graphics can be used in two main ways. It can be treated as a normal source and cut directly to Program or Preview. It can also be used as an overlay.
On the Home panel, the Graphics button overlays the current Web Graphics source over Program. This is especially useful when the page includes transparency. For example, a lower third might only occupy a small part of the frame, while the rest of the page remains transparent. In that case, the graphic appears over the live Program output instead of replacing it.
Some pages also respond to page controls. In the Web Graphics settings there are controls for editing the URL and sending keyboard-style commands. These can be useful when the page is interactive or presentation-based, such as a browser presentation that needs to advance slides.
Because Web Graphics is effectively a live web renderer inside Mavis Studio, it can support anything from a simple webpage to a fully dynamic graphics workflow.
