Mavis Studio includes built-in colour sources that can be used anywhere in a Show.
A colour source is generated inside the app, so it does not require an external file or device. It can be selected from the video matrix, placed in the multiview, and used like any other source.
To configure a colour source, tap its settings button in the multiview.
A colour source can be set as either a solid colour or a gradient.
- A solid colour fills the frame with a single selected colour.
- A gradient allows different colours to be used across the frame. Each corner can be adjusted independently, making it possible to create subtle blends or more vivid multi-corner backgrounds. Corners can also be linked together to create simpler gradients from top to bottom or side to side.
Colour sources are useful for background fills, holding screens, branded looks, placeholder sources, and clean backgrounds inside Layouts.
Because they are generated inside Mavis Studio, colour sources are always available and quick to adjust. Multiple colour sources can also be prepared in advance, making it easy to switch between different looks during a Show.
