Mavis Studio can send an HDMI output when the iPad is connected to suitable external hardware.
Like NDI, HDMI output is assignable. This means it is not limited to Program. The source sent to HDMI can be selected from the video matrix.
This makes HDMI useful for local displays, confidence monitors, venue screens, or other external viewing setups.
To configure HDMI output, open Outputs, select the HDMI output, and choose the source to send.
In Mavis Studio, AirPlay follows the same output path as HDMI. This means the same output behaviour applies whether the signal is being sent through a physical HDMI connection or through Appleās wireless display system.
From a Mavis Studio point of view, HDMI is a practical local output. It allows a selected source to be shown outside the iPad without affecting the main streamed or recorded Program output.
