Mavis Studio can send an NDI output across the network.
Unlike the Streamer and Recorder, NDI output is not fixed to Program. Instead, the source for the NDI output can be selected from the video matrix.
This makes NDI output useful for many different workflows. It can be used to send Program, a clean source, a Media Player, a Layout, a test signal, or any other available source to another device on the network.
To configure NDI output, open Outputs, select the NDI output, and then choose the source to send.
From a Mavis Studio point of view, NDI is a flexible network output. It is useful for monitors, alternate feeds, and integration with other NDI-compatible systems.
NDI output is part of the NDI-enabled version of Mavis Studio. More advanced NDI behaviour, such as device naming and network settings, is covered separately in the NDI section.
