The Recorder saves the live Program output directly to the iPad.
To begin recording, tap the Record button on the Home screen and choose Start Recording. While recording is active, the record control changes state to show that recording is in progress.
The Recorder is fed from Program, so whatever is live in Program is what gets recorded.
Recordings are saved into the Mavis Studio folder in the iPad Files app.
The record menu also includes View Recordings. This opens the Files app to the recordings folder. Important Because this leaves Mavis Studio, it is intended for use when production is finished rather than while actively running a Show. Important! - Leaving Mavis Studio and opening the File app will stop Mavis Studio and your recording / stream will stop
Recording gives a simple way to create a local copy of the Show directly on the iPad, whether for archive, review, or later editing.
