Mavis Studio includes a dedicated Graphics button on the Home screen.
This overlays the current Web Graphics source over Program.
This is useful when graphics need to appear over the live output without replacing the underlying video. A common example is a lower third, logo, bug, or HTML-based title graphic.
When Graphics is turned on, the Web Graphics source is added over the top of Program as the final layer in the video path. If the web graphic includes transparency, only the visible graphic elements appear and the rest of Program remains visible underneath.
This allows Web Graphics to be used in two ways. It can be cut as a full-screen source like any other source, or it can be overlaid using the Graphics button.
When the overlay is active, tally reflects this. The live Program source remains on air, and the Web Graphics source is also shown as active because both are part of the final output.
This makes Graphics a quick way to add live overlays without changing the main switched source underneath.
